Built by Coaches, for Coaches
Plyomat was born out of necessity—an answer to the limitations coaches faced every day in the weight room and on the field. In early 2021, veteran strength & conditioning coach Rich Burnett grew increasingly frustrated with the outdated, overpriced, and limited-function jump mat options available on the market. As a coach working with hundreds of athletes daily, Rich needed something better—more reliable, more accurate, more affordable, and more coach-friendly.
So he teamed up with software and electrical engineer Larry Eaton, and together they built the first Plyomat prototype from scratch. What started as a garage-based project has now grown into a trusted tool used by thousands of coaches—and counting—across high schools, colleges, and professional sports programs.
